Commission & Build Policy
Deposit & Reservation
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your build slot and initiate the design process. This deposit covers consultation time, design development, and material allocation. Build slots are confirmed only once the deposit has been received.

Payment Schedule
The remaining balance will be structured according to the agreed build timeline. Full payment must be received prior to delivery or shipment of the instrument. No instrument will be released without cleared payment.

Design Changes
Significant specification changes after materials have been ordered or work has commenced may result in additional charges and/or timeline adjustments. All change requests must be confirmed in writing.

Shipping & Insurance Shipping
Insurance, brokerage fees, and applicable taxes are not included in the instrument price unless explicitly stated. All instruments are shipped fully insured via professional air express service. Responsibility transfers to the client once the instrument has been accepted by the shipping carrier.

Customs, Duties & Compliance
Clients are responsible for any import duties, VAT, taxes, or compliance requirements within their country of residence. Timber Wood Guitars complies with all applicable Canadian export regulations, including CITES where required.

Climate & Care Responsibility
Wood is a natural material and reacts to changes in humidity and temperature. Clients are responsible for maintaining proper humidity (40–50%) and safe storage conditions. Damage resulting from improper humidity control, neglect, or environmental exposure is not covered under warranty.

Warranty Coverage
Timber Wood Guitars warrants the instrument against defects in craftsmanship under normal use. Warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, modification by third parties, or issues caused by environmental factors.
Final Acceptance
Upon delivery or pickup, the client acknowledges receipt and acceptance of the instrument in its completed condition unless otherwise documented in writing.
